Fuding White Tea Cake

White Leaf Tea Cake

Produced in Fuding in 2009 and made from the Dabai Cha variety of white tea. This tea is still relatively young and will be even smoother after a number of years.

We were very surprised to find a white tea-cake in Fuding. And we were especially please to find a tea-cake made out of the best white tea-leaves, pressed and ready for aging like the best puerh teas. With the aging process, this tea’s taste will change become smoother and more sophisticated.

Every year only a small amount of this tea is produced and sold making it an exclusive variety of white tea-cake. Tea Adventure delivers this tea-cake directly from the tea plantations in Fuding, therefore we have a stable supply. Just like the loose leaf white tea, this cake has a smooth and special taste.  Moreover it is extremely beneficial to your health, even more so than green teas.

Brewing instructions: Use a small knife to cut some tea from the inner side of the tea-cake in order to preserve its round shape. Use 3-4 grams for a glass and add 200ml of water at 85°C. Brew the tea for 1 to 10 minutes.
