Kungfu Tea: Bailin Black
Black Minhong Kungfu Tea
Bailin Kungfu black tea is one of the most special black teas we offer. Its unique taste distinguishes it from all the other black teas available. Try this tea together with some pure chocolate.
Bailin Kungfu is a rare black tea from Fujian Province. Bailin is a small town located near the white tea capital of Fuding. Kungfu Tea refers to the disciplined skills which are related to the picking and the processing of this black tea. Only the freshest, unbroken leaves are chosen for the Bailin Black Tea. The large number of golden tea buds signifies high quality of this black tea. The taste is so full of aromas that this tea should be consumed in its pure form. The Bailin Kungfu Tea is definitely not a standard black tea. In fact, it is so different from what the average black tea drinker is used to, that we highly recommend trying this black tea experience. The tea is of a beautiful clear red colour and the aftertaste gives a refreshing impression. Our high quality Bailin Kungfu Black tea leaves are picked from high mountains of northern Fujian where the plantations are located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level.
Taste notes: The tea has a soft, mild taste, full of different aromas including hints of creamy caramel, chocolate and sweet potato. Truly taste with strength and sweetness.
Processing the Bailin Kungfu tea is truly a complicated process and a well-kept secret. Only a few tea masters have the skills to process this tea. Our tea master has been processing this tea for more than 40 years and has completely mastered the art resulting in what can only be described as almost perfect tea. Because only a small number of tea masters know how to process the Bailin Kungfu tea, it is not just tea of the highest quality, but also very exclusive.
Brewing instructions: Use between 3 and 4 grams of this Kungfu tea per glass and add water of around 90 degrees Celsius. All high quality Kungfu black teas should be steeped with water of 85-90 degrees. To prepare half a liter of this tea, use around 5 grams. However, the amount of tea you add ultimately depends on your personal taste. Steep the tea for only a few seconds if you like mild tea and for a little more than a minute of you
like strong tea. When using the KungFu tea set, use 3 grams and steep the tea for around 20 seconds. It is not necessary to wash this tea, but it doesn't hurt to do so. Most serious tea drinkers have developed the habit of always washing the tea once before dinking.
Shipping: Order at least for 15 euros for free shipping. It will take around 12 days for you to receive the tea at home. Shipping only 5 days when you order more than 100 euro tea and tea ware in total.
